12 + 3

Twelve months plus 3 months equals fifteen months of Charles!  That said, I usually tell people she's one year and three months when they as how old she is, because if most people are like me, and who knows if they are?!, but to me 15 months sounds like too much counting to actually figure out the age of a child.  And I get it...those people who say "Oh, my sweet child is 37 months old" (yes, real live people do count the months for-ev-errrr) say it probably because literally every month is a huge change and huge milestones occur almost on a weekly basis.  But come on!  If I have a problem figuring out that 15 months is one year and three months, then 37 months? Ummm.  Three years.  You have a three year old.  That definitely took me at least one minute to figure out...12 x 3 = 36, plus 1 = 37.

So, moving on.

Joel snapped some photos of Charlee yesterday (Feb. 6th - 15 month birthdayyyy).  Thank you Facebook for reminding me yesterday morning that "One Year Ago Today" our child looked like this:
One cute Bubs who didn't know how to smile quite yet :)

Brace yourself for the Many Faces of Charles.

Goofy Face.

Model Face.

Laughy Face.

Straight Up Ham Face.

Sweetest Face.

Probably Talking Face.

Definitely Talking Face.

Joel managed to get some shots of Charlee playing with her pink bunnies.  The one bunny in her left hand became her fast fav these last few months and he now comes everywhere with us.  We gave him a wash with the laundry the other day, which was cool.  You know what wasn't cool?  The DRY after the wash.  Nope.  That was the longest 40 minutes of my life.

Here are a few more things we've been up to!

Rediscovering our west coast beaches and LOVING it.

A weekend morning Home Depot adventure with Pa.  I most definitely slept until 9.45 that morning.
Backyard play time!

Family Day Weekend! My cousin Ali and her man, Will, came to visit, and so did my Auntie and Uncle Doug.  Here we all are at a short lived beach adventure.  Yes, Charlee got soaked, hence -- bare feet.
FaceTime catch ups with our Prague Peeps!  Charlee waiting for Nikki to answer the phone :)
A visit to our "aquarium" with our Beach Friends.  But this is a different topic that deserves a post of its own! Next time!
